A grand stage set to celebrate the talents of people with Intellectual and(or) physical disability.

Eligibility
Open to participants who are 10 years or older.

Solo/Group (Max. Team size – 10)

Registration Guidelines:

  1. Upload a performance video, maximum 1 minute, showcasing the talent you will portray.
  2. The video should be a preview of the act to be performed in the audition and grand finale.
  3. Ensure performances are free from profanity and follow community guidelines.
  4. Content must not be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race, or political party.
  5. Participants must arrange their own costumes and props

Auditions and Grand Finale Guidelines:

  1. Top 10 entries will be selected for a physical audition before the Grand Finale.
  2. Top 3 performers from the Audition will qualify for the Grand Finale on 18 August 2024.
  3. Final performances must be between 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Music or any other support required for the performances to be handed over to the Organizers one week in advance before the performance

Registration Guidelines:

  1. Upload  Hi-Resolution photo / 15 second video demonstrating your art or craft piece.
  2. The artwork should be Original and the photos / video should showcase the technique, creativity, and final product.
  3. Clearly state the materials used in your artwork or craft.
  4. Theme: Emotional Chennai 
  5. Ensure artworks are free from profanity and follow community guidelines.
  6. Content must not be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race, or political party.

Audition Guidelines:

  1. During the physical audition, present the completed piece along with a brief explanation (2 minutes) of the concept, materials, and technique.
  2. Be prepared to demonstrate a part of your creation process live (5-7 minutes).
  3. The selected Art and craft pieces will be collected by the Organizers to be displayed at the Grand Finale. 

Grand Finale Guidelines:

  1. Winning Entries will be displayed at the Grand Finale. 
  2. Provide a detailed explanation of the concept, inspiration, and creation process (100 words).
  3. The display of other shortlisted entries will be based on the space available at the venue and it will be at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
  4. All artworks can be collected after the completion of the Grand Finale.

Registration Guidelines:

  1. Submit a portfolio of 1-3 photographs (1 single PDF) showcasing your best work. It should be your Original work.
  2. The photographs should demonstrate technical skill, creativity, and adherence to the theme: Emotional Chennai.
  3. Ensure photos are free from profanity and follow community guidelines.
  4. Content must not be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race, or political party.

Audition Guidelines:

  1. Present A4 size prints of the submitted photographs.
  2. Provide a 2-3 minute explanation of the themes, techniques, and stories behind your photos.
  3. Be prepared for a brief live photography challenge during the audition. (optional)

Grand Finale Guidelines:

  1. Winning Entries will be displayed at the Grand Finale. 
  2. Provide a detailed explanation of the themes, techniques, and stories behind your photos (100 words per photo).
  3. The display of other shortlisted entries will be based on the space available at the venue and it will be at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
  4. All submissions can be collected post the completion of the Grand Finale.

Registration Guidelines:

  1. Upload a 1-minute video reciting a piece of your poetry or a short excerpt from your creative writing.
  2. Submit the piece of writing in an A4 size document (Pdf format)
  3. Ensure the piece is your original writing and showcases your writing style and thematic focus. Theme: Emotional Chennai.
  4. Ensure articles are free from profanity and follow community guidelines.
  5. Content must not be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race, or political party.

Audition Guidelines:

  1. Perform a live recitation of your poetry or a reading of your creative writing piece (3 minutes).
  2. Provide a brief explanation (2 minutes) of the inspiration, theme, and writing process.
  3. Present A4 size print of the submitted article.
  4. Be prepared for a brief live writing challenge during the audition. (Optional)

Grand Finale Guidelines:

  1. Winning Entries will be displayed at the Grand Finale. 
  2. Provide a detailed explanation of the inspiration, theme, and creative process behind the final piece. (100 words).
  3. The display of other shortlisted entries will be based on the space available at the venue and it will be at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
  4. All submissions can be collected post the completion of the Grand Final

Participants must ensure that their submissions do not infringe upon intellectual property rights or contain copyrighted material without proper authorization. Please refrain from using copyrighted images, text, or other protected content in your submissions. Any infringement may result in disqualification from the competition. We encourage originality and respect for intellectual property.

  1. Respect and Professionalism: Treat all fellow participants, organizers, and judges with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
  2. Honesty and Integrity: Ensure that all submissions, ideas, and representations are truthful, original, and in line with ethical standards.
  3. Plagiarism and Copyright: Avoid plagiarism and respect intellectual property rights. Do not submit work that infringes upon copyrights or contains unauthorized content.
  4. Fair Play: Refrain from engaging in any form of cheating, unfair advantage-seeking, or unethical behaviour that compromises the integrity of the competition.
  5. Compliance with Rules: Follow all competition rules, guidelines, and submission requirements.

Participants must adhere to the following guidelines to maintain their eligibility throughout the competition. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disqualification:

    • Academic Integrity: All submissions must be the original work of the participants, free from plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
    • Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to uphold ethical behaviour, treat others with respect, and follow the competition’s codes of conduct as outlined.
    • Submission Requirements: Submissions must meet all specified requirements, including deadlines, formats, and any additional guidelines provided.
    • Eligibility Criteria: Participants must meet the specified eligibility criteria, such as age, educational level, or any other requirements mentioned.

  1. Final Decisions: The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding. The panel, consisting of experts in the relevant field, will evaluate the submissions based on predefined criteria and determine the winners. Their decisions are made with careful consideration and expertise.
  2. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes or concerns related to the competition, participants may contact the competition organizers via the designated channels. We will thoroughly review and address any genuine concerns or issues raised in a fair and impartial manner.
  3. Fairness and Integrity: The competition organizers are committed to upholding the principles of fairness and integrity. We ensure that all participants are treated equally and have an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and talents.
