Mindful Fashion Chennai

Inviting all college students of Chennai to bring out your inner fashion designer and celebrate sustainability and mindful fashion. Shortlisted participants will receive mentorship from renowned fashion designers, guiding them to create innovative, eco-friendly designs. Join us in showcasing the future of mindful and sustainable fashion.  


  1. Open to all College students who are enrolled in any Educational Institution.
  2. Team size – 06 to 10
  1. Upload a 1-minute video showcasing 3 sustainable fashion outfits designed and created by the participant. This can be in the form of sketches, 3d models or any other form of visual representation.
  2. The video should highlight key features of the outfit, materials used, and the inspiration behind the design.  
  3. The designs should be Original and should showcase the technique, creativity, and final product. Theme: Mindful Fashion.
  4. Ensure performances are free from profanity and follow community guidelines.
  5. Content must not be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race, or political party.
  1. During the physical audition, present the 3 designed Outfits along with a brief explanation (2 minutes) of the concept, materials, and technique.
  2. Be prepared with models to walk the ramp to demonstrate your creations live. (5-7 minutes).
  1. Minimum 6 outfits to be designed.
  2. Finalists will have to do a rampwalk showcasing the designed Outfits. (5 mins)
  3. The main designer will have to explain the design idea and process. (1 minute)
  4. Music for the rampwalk to be handed over to the Organizers one week in advance before the performance.
  5. Any props and other items needed for the Fashion show to be organized by the respective teams.

Participants must ensure that their submissions do not infringe upon intellectual property rights or contain copyrighted material without proper authorization. Please refrain from using copyrighted images, text, or other protected content in your submissions. Any infringement may result in disqualification from the competition. We encourage originality and respect for intellectual property.

  2. Honesty and Integrity: Ensure that all submissions, ideas, and representations are truthful, original, and in line with ethical standards.
  3. Plagiarism and Copyright: Avoid plagiarism and respect intellectual property rights. Do not submit work that infringes upon copyrights or contains unauthorized content.
  4. Fair Play: Refrain from engaging in any form of cheating, unfair advantage-seeking, or unethical behaviour that compromises the integrity of the competition.
  5. Compliance with Rules: Follow all competition rules, guidelines, and submission requirements.

Participants must adhere to the following guidelines to maintain their eligibility throughout the competition. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disqualification:

    • Academic Integrity: All submissions must be the original work of the participants, free from plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
    • Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to uphold ethical behaviour, treat others with respect, and follow the competition’s codes of conduct as outlined.
    • Submission Requirements: Submissions must meet all specified requirements, including deadlines, formats, and any additional guidelines provided.
    • Eligibility Criteria: Participants must meet the specified eligibility criteria, such as age, educational level, or any other requirements mentioned.

  1. Final Decisions: The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding. The panel, consisting of experts in the relevant field, will evaluate the submissions based on predefined criteria and determine the winners. Their decisions are made with careful consideration and expertise.
  2. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes or concerns related to the competition, participants may contact the competition organizers via the designated channels. We will thoroughly review and address any genuine concerns or issues raised in a fair and impartial manner.
  3. Fairness and Integrity: The competition organizers are committed to upholding the principles of fairness and integrity. We ensure that all participants are treated equally and have an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and talents.
